Who doesn’t want a well fitting t-shirt?
Last summer I made up Simplicity 8138, a simple hi-lo top. Now that summer is almost here, I’m wearing it more. So I decided to make it again!
At the Sewing Expo in March I bought 4 pieces of inexpensive cotton. Three were perfect for skirts, but the moment I saw this piece I knew exactly what it was intended for … a shirtdress!
Proof positive that good patterns don’t have to cost a lot of money. And sometimes they’re even free!
Last Spring when we were in London I made my first pilgrimage to the venerable Liberty of London, and after touching every bolt of fabric I came home with a piece of Tana lawn, and a pattern.
